Security

Data security is our priority.

CBHV data processing and storage meet the standards and requirements of some of the largest financial institutions globally

At CBHV, keeping our client’s data secure is our top priority.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard all data received and stored at CBHV.

CBHV utilizes various methods to prevent and detect threats to critical systems and IT controls are set up to comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local regulations. System logs are configured to monitor, detect issues, and notify the appropriate personnel in a timely manner. Back-up programs are tested regularly to ensure data integrity. When credit card information is transmitted, we use industry standard, SSL (secure socket layer) encryption. Additionally, the office and computer areas of our building are secure, and access is strictly controlled and monitored.

CBHV is a SSAE 18 SOC 1 Type 2 and PCI compliant company. We are also an ACA International Blueprint Quality Management Certified agency which follows industry-standard recommendations and best practices on information security and data management to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information.

Learn more about how CBHV is ensuring your data is safe.

SSAE 18 SOC 1 Type 2:

Statement of Standards for Attestation Engagements No. 18 (SSAE 18) demonstrates that we have various controls in place to maintain the highest level of information security. CBHV’s controls are audited annually by a third-party CPA.

Vulnerability Scans and Penetration Testing

A vulnerability scan is an automated, high-level test that looks for and reports potential vulnerabilities. A penetration test is a detailed hands-on examination by a real person that tries to detect and exploit weaknesses in your system.

PCI DSS

CBHV adheres to the industry standard known as Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) to ensure proper handling and security of cardholder information for the major debit, credit, prepaid, ATM, and POS cards. Quarterly and annual audits ensure CBHV maintains ongoing compliance.

Disaster Recovery Preparedness

In terms of data, redundancy equals resiliency. We invest a significant amount in our technological infrastructure to support and protect the data entrusted to us. A live production data center is located off-site. This allows us the option to switch to our real-time redundant sites at our corporate headquarters and other locations. Our stringent protocol affords us the ability to keep CBHV’s systems up and running during serious disruptive crises.

ACA’s Blueprint Quality Management System Certified
